Guest guest
I have not written in some time although I read the posts every day and my thoughts are always with you. My daughter Tali (EG) has been relatively stable the last year although she has an extremly limited diet (soft meat and potatoes 3 times a day, occasionally some fruit and vegetables and lots of snacks). She is happy and vibrant although not gaining much weight. After months of throwing up almost everything she ate, she now does so much less regularly, although she still suffers from regular stomach pains. We are debating whether to put her on a g tube this summer and try an elimination diet, as suggested by Dr. Sampson. We are torn by the choice. On the one hand we are reluctant to interupt her life; on the other we would like to know once and for all what she can and can't eat, so that perhaps she can work with a food psychologist to increase her diet. Any thoughts or suggestion would be appreciated. Especially experience with the G tube. Also, any articles that have been published on the topics would be greatly appreciated. and Terri, parents to Zachary (10), Tali (8, EG) and EJ (6).
