Guest guest
OK...without boring you all with my mother-in-law problems...I'll summarize this up with her favorite saying about just about anything: " Its not going to hurt you " . Suffice it to say, having a 6 year old has caused havoc on my marriage as I'm very protective of my baby. I digress...the holidays are right around the corner so that means more family time which means dealing with the MIL on a more regular basis. When she found out that I was on this diet, she said " I'll have to make you some devilled eggs...YOU CAN HAVE THEM! " . Now, I know we can have devilled eggs and I'm on Day 19 of the diet so I'm out of Induction even though I'm still keeping my count low. My question is this: Don't regular Devilled Eggs have more ingredients that the " low carb ones " do? I hate to go into her house on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day and say that I need to know what are in them before eating them and then making her mad. I figure I'll be safe with the ham and turkey, but she's making these especially for me. Isn't there usually relish or something that adds carbs to the " regular kind " ? I want her to know up front that if they have particular things that are " normal " that I won't be able to eat them so she won't go to the trouble and be mad. Thanks for any advice on this matter. Amazing that I'm already getting stressed about this... Glyn 230/226/145 Atkid since 10/23/
