Guest guest
<< Someone said they mixed flavored selzer with whipping cream, sounded interesting >> I mixed equal parts whipping cream and flavored carbonated water, I used strawberry.(added some sweetener too) It was very good. I am going to experiment with club soda and some other LC ingredients to see what I can come up with. I love quick and easy shakes. I would really like to try to come up with something that is like a chocolate soda. Any ideas? I have been thinking of trying Atkins shake mix with the club soda or maybe some cocoa, AS, cream and club soda. I would like to get some ideas before I try or perhaps someone else has some ideas that they have already done? Teena

Guest guest
teena, i am now drinking white grape flavored carbonated water. all the stores have them, they come in peach, black cherry, etc. they have no carbs, no sodium, no anything but gooood tasting. if you mix the mix with this please let me know. i am looking for a drink that i could have about two times a day. also if you get chocolate soda, diet of course, and mix it with any kind of milk or milk substitute, you will have a new york egg cream. it's very, very good. iris Re: Shakes >From: TLLOVESHIM@... > > > ><< Someone said they mixed flavored selzer with whipping cream, > sounded interesting >> > >I mixed equal parts whipping cream and flavored carbonated water, I used >strawberry.(added some sweetener too) It was very good. I don't whip it or anything first. I would say that you could use a blender and just mix equal parts whipping cream and soda. It should whip up nicely. Some who have tried other brands say they don't keep you as full for as long a period of time. But, that's just what I've read.... I may try another brand on first Tuesday, just to see for myself. Guest guest
La, I use 1/3 c cream, 2/3 c diet chocolate soda and about 4 ice cubes and mix in the blender. No lumps. I put the ice in one cube at a time or that will lump. Also I always put some of the liquid in after the mix. Usually add in this order : cream, mix, soda, ice. Hope this helps karen B

Guest guest
Weight Watchers taught me to add a tablespoon of peanut butter to that banana shake. It's really good! Joann in Mobile
Guest guest
When I first got home, this is the shake I made. I blended some protein powder, lactose free milk & a banana, which added a little sweetness to it. Then I added some ice & blended that. It made it frothy. It worked pretty well for me. Hope this helps. Cheri > My wonderful husband just bought a blender and is wondering if anyone has any recipes for shakes that he can make me. Isn't he the sweetest! Guest guest
> My wonderful husband just bought a blender and is wondering if anyone has any recipes for shakes that he can make me. I did not drink too many blender shakes (too much work after a few weeks!) - but I loved this site and the ideas. Throw a scoop of protein powder or two in and you're set! http://unicity.net/reine/smoothie/
