Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have a favor to ask. Is there anyone on the list familiar with Excel. I need help here. It is new to me, I have never used it before yesterday. I need help as it is a very powerful program, and a little deep for me with all the other things I am doing. Don, are you familiar with the program, hopefully? Can you give me any advice on this program?? I have no idea about sorting with this program....... The Victims Profile Database is at: http://members.aol.com/brenall1/watch/CJDVictims.htm Dr. Tom Pringle sent this email to me after looking at the database: Very cool, I can't believe how fast you got this done. Now practise sorting, say by length of illness [descending sort] or by state or by date of death. Then can have a separate page for each table with a master page providing links to those sorts. Sorts also allow you to find blanks and entries that need revising. M 59 In/Progress Counting On familial, best if you can give kind, such as E200K or P102L. See http://mad-cow.org/~tom/prion_point_mutations.html When I looked at the source code, the table html was very bulky, with tons of formatting. this makes the document slow to load. excel may have various ways of saving to html or save as text and import into your html editor where you have more control. text separated by tabs goes easily into tables.
