Shana;

Sounds like your daughter is as normal as the rest of these kids. Many

times I have rushed my darling son down to the hospital just to have him

bouncing off the walls saying he is fine. Once he actually ended up down

there with the fever gone everything. The doc said to keep him for 24 hrs

anyhow and yes he really went downhill fast about half way through the

night. But that was the exception. Now they have gotten smart with him.

Most of the times the little brat lies so he can go home. Can't blame him

and the docs now have got him figured out. Mind you it only took 7 years to

get this far.

Not to worry we all have been there and I am sure wll continue to got

through these things

Beatrix Mom to HD 7 TPN short gut EG and so on

Hi Shanna,

I can certainly agree with Beatrix. They all do that. I have been there too. My symptoms sometimes just go away when I go to the doctor only to start up again before I get home.

In this case though I wonder if the Ibuprofen took away the pain for a while? With my kids, I always tried not to give them anything that might affect fevers or pain before we went to the doctor. Hope this helps you in the future. I am sorry Miriam is suffering so much. It is hard enough for me to cope when I am in pain and it must be doubly hard on her and on you. I hope you can address the cause soon.

Good Luck

Judy
