Guest guest
good for you! it takes a lot of nerve to get on the scale the first time........I used to design clothes for LeTigre, and when we had our conferences in Cleveland, I used to get on the freight scale every morning (they all thought i was crazy....) but, well, i couldn't do it naked: that would be silly...so don't forget to subtract a couple of pounds for your clothes! 200 lbs is the " insurance table " standard for a 6 foot tall man, but I think you have to see what happens when you get there...how you look and feel. My boyfriend is 5'11 " and weighs about 160 (frankly, he looks a little scrawny to me, but love IS blind...), my partner is 6 foot and weighs 235: he looks fine: not thin, but fine. some of this has to do with how muscular you are, and where you carry your weight. anyway, congrats on establishing a " ground zero " and good luck today!
