Thanks Sheila. Seeing progress right away sure helps keep me motivated.

I just went to one birthday party and two dinner parties this weekend. I

had birthday cake, ice cream, chips, another chocolate cake, stuffed shells,

baked potatoes and coconut creme pie waved in front of me. Not to mention

Halloween candy. And I DIDN'T cheat once!

What really helped was that I planned ahead. For the birthday party, I

brought a GREAT anti-pasta platter that I found in my Low Card book. Kept

me busy and full.

For the first dinner party, I was told there would be anti-pasta and stuffed

shells. So I planned on bringing dessert-cheesecake made with Splenda.

Couldn't find Splenda at my grocery store! Last minute I decided to make a

Sugar-free Jello mold and brought whipped cream. It was loved by the kids

and me-the ones that did not eat the cake.

Haven't seen a big improvement over the weekend but the jeans sure are more

comfortable. Drank LOTS of water.
