Guest guest
Hello again! Now that I have sent a question, I suppose I should send an intro. Gee, it is hard telling complete strangers that you weighed 260. That is information I don't even want to share with my doctor, thereby explaining my goal of 230. It will be less than what I weighed two years ago at my physical in November. I have been on Atkins since 8-16-99. I do find it really easy, except for the lack of bread. I was already a water junkie, so that was easy. It was a good habit I developed this spring. Like alot of other people, I tired no fat and the like, only to gain weight. I have had lots of setbacks. I am a professional crafter and the choices of food on the weekends are slim, to say the least. Like someone said the other day, it is discouraging to pay so much money, only to throw away the bread. I mostly cheat on weekends. I am really looking forward to December when the season will be over and I won't be so tempted. One thing about this wol is cheating is o.k. No big deal, just get back to it. It would be better if I didn't, but that's o.k. I did learn through cheating that I needed more carbs. One bad week, I cheated for about three days. I lost ten pounds immediately upon getting back to normal. I guess it wasn't so bad afterall. I am taking this one day at a time. I did Atkins in high school, back in the 70's. I didn't understand it as well then, and am finding it alot easier. I always remember Rhine Wine and hot dogs being o.k. Strange what we remember. I just want to say thanks, again! Especially for the recipes. I may have to break down and fix the oven. I think it would be nice to get my kids to eat some sugar free brownies and such.
