Guest guest
Antibo\iotics can cause you to go out of ketosis and stall. don't try any more till they are out of your system. I think Sue had a problem with that. Also I know someone who ate peppers and they went out of Ketosis. I would recheck your Ketosis about 2 days after your stop the meds. I am not sure but I think it might take that long to get it out of your sysytem Hugs Penny---Ohio 173/157/130 Goal for Oct 31st-----155 !!!!!!!!Go Braves!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
<< Also I am finishing up an antibiotic for a sinus infection. Could that effect my going into ketosis? Or cause a " false " reading? >> Antibiotics can affect your loss. I fought with a yeast infection (not vaginal, in my gut) for some time as a result of taking antibiotics. There is a section in Dr. Atkin's book on it. If you feel bloated, gassy, tired, sluggish, have diarrhea or headaches you could have a yeast infection in your gut. Read in the book for more info. GNC has some good products to kill yeast in the intestines. Drink lots of water too. Teena
