Guest guest
Hello everyone, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and will continue to have a great new year celebration. For those of you on the TPN list, I will get those cards out I just had a problem with getting my photo's back and I really wanted to send a photo in them. I just wanted to send a quick update on Spencer. Well, of course we couldn't come to Utah without Spencer getting sick. He ran a temp of 104.00 yesterday and we had just a wonderful night last night. I think I was up every hour with him. Anyway........we have tappered down his steroids from 7 cc x 2 to 7 cc in the am and 3 cc in the pm. He is now having about 4 poops a day and is retching just a tad. The poop is frothy and has white pieces in it everytime we change him. His bum bum is bleeding as well cause of all of the poops. He didn't start his retching full power until we were down to two or one cc at night. He is loosing weight. I believe in the high 16 to barely 17 lb range. Folks.......we are headed back for the line. I am a little happy about this because he will start to get all of the nutrician that he needs again. The other thing is that when we were feeding him 1000 cc's by gut about 6 months ago he was gaining a little bit of weight. He is loosing. Jennie......we need to talk about the Central line port that you have found. I will return your call when we get home in the middle of Janurary. As for me......my back. Agh!!!!!! I can't stand it anymore. I either need sugery or have a nerve block or Morphine put directly in. I am sooooooo sick of talking pain killers. When I don't take them I am in terrible pain, but I need them. The nausea is terrible and I think I am getting addicted to them. I guess only natural since they are addictive. When I get back to MI I think I am going to mean business. Especially since I want to try to open up an office for my company in the next 6 months. Well, anyway....sorry to ramble on so. You all have a wonderful holiday. I won't be on as much cause I have to dial long distance but I will be checking my mail.
