Hi,

I've been lurking for about one week. I think I may have to unsub

because the volume of mail is overwhelming for me. But I want to introduce

myself and share some questions and thoughts before deciding.

I have been doing Atkins since early May. I do not like to tell how much

I have lost/weight, etc. because I am self-conscious about it and because I

want to focus on the behaviors and not the numbers.

It took me two months to get into purple ketosis. I am eating vegetables

now but no fruit, and I am not counting carbs strictly but am pretty much

staying low on those.

I have not been able to give up caffeine, haven't really tried, to be

honest. I have done very well with a weight loss but it has slowed down a

lot recently. I am trying to decide whether or not to take a different tact.

Exercising is extremely difficult for me. Did it for the first two months

of dieting, but not since then.

Just got some Metaboplus pills to try the stacking, but have a tendency

towards high BP so will be very careful with that. Interested in whether or

not anyone has had that sort of stacking product raise their BP.

The major concern I have now, healthwise, is that I have noticed that I

am losing a lot of hair. My doctor isn't concerned and says it is related to

a major change in the body such as a big weight loss, pregnancy, etc. Has

anyone else noticed anything like this? Did it stop after 2-3 months? This

is what my doctor has said will happen. Still...It makes me uneasy.

I would be interested in any feedback any of you have to offer. Thanks
