Hi everyone,

I got my allergy test results back yesterday and they came back negative for

all foods. The doc says I just must have intolerances to 95% of all foods.

I totally do not understand how I can get hives and tongue/face/throat

swelling and have benadryl help if the immune system is not involved. He

said I could eat whatever I wanted and just take claritin, so last night I

ate turkey that wasnt one ingredient and within minutes my eyes and nose

started to itch and puff and my lips and tongue were swelling and I was

throwing up all night long. I " ve read that food intolerant people have a

more permeable gut that allows the peptides to leak out. That's how a doc 2

years ago decided I became allergic to foods, a gut leak. I've been

throwing up even when I don't eat recently, and sometimes I'll throw up food

18 hours after I ate it. The GI says it's stress. Since this has been

going on 3 years, I want to be scoped again just to check out my esophagus.

Last time, over a year ago, it was starting to turn into columnar epithelial

tissue near the base and that's where the eosinophils were. My stomach was

fine and so were my teeth, so they didn't seem too worried. I had to switch

docs when I moved to college and when the pediatics couldn't help me

anymore. I also have narcolepsy, severe migraines, GERD, anxiety/panic

disorders, depression (duh!), circadian rhythm disorder, and food

allergy/intolerances. I know alot of these can be linked to the thalamus

and my basilar artery is 50% constricted. Does anyone know if any stomach

disorders are linked to the thalamus? Any suggestions on what type of

things to ask the GI when I call? There is no resistance when I vomit at

all, I can't lean over or lay down after I eat for several hours or it all

just falls out. Any ideas at all? Thanks,

Kelsey
