Guest guest
Conny, I haven't been reading all the posts on this topic, so forgive me if someone has already mentioned it. But Dr. H at convention felt that some cases are genetic, and others that are environment. She gave, what I thought, was a funny comparison. She feels our RSS/SGA kids would have made good caveman babies. If they develop in utero with a compromised nutrition (in our case, knot in the cord and poor prenatal nutrition) then they rewire their brains to never be hungry (because the food isn't going to be there anyway). So they never feel hungry, have poor growth, etc. That is why she feels she sees varying degrees in different kids. Beth
