Guest guest
Hello Everyone, This may be off of the subject but the question came up about zyrtec and singulair. Forgive me if I am breaking any rules. I realize that I am always talking about my middle son, , but I have a ten year old also, who suffers from chronic asthma. His name is Nick. Nick takes a singulair pill in the morning, along with serevent and azmacourt inhalers. He then takes max air at school and during the p.m., before bed, he takes a zyrtec along with the serevent and azmacourt. It may seem like a lot, but for the first time, we have his asthma controlled. One of his major triggers happens to be any colds or viruses. It did not surprise me when your Spencer's asthma flared up after his cold. Poor guy. The zyrtec and the singulair are used as preventative medications only, they will not help during an attack. If Nick misses a dose, he has a hard time catching his body back up. It really makes a difference for us. A positive one. I should mention that we monitor Nick's breathing with a peak flow meter, morning and at night, and he uses the inspra ease bags for spacers. Perhaps Spencer could use some sort of a peak flow meter to monitor his in-take of air. Good luck. As you can tell, I am much more confident about discussing Nick's asthma than I am about Matt's eos. entropothy. (Matt I am still in the dark and I am trying to find the light.) I am very educated from dealing with Nick's medication's and treatments. I will be very happy to try and give helpful advice or information to anyone who may need it. We have discovered and tried almost everything out on the market before Nick's asthma became controlled. Jacque.
