Guest guest
Mel: My father had a complete autopsy and after negotiating back and forth with the Dallas Medical Examiner's office (they didn't want to give Dad back to us after the autopsy), we were able to have a open casket for both the visitation and the funeral. We had to tell everyone not to touch Dad. It was terrible because we couldn't tell people why since we didn't have a positive diagnosis when he died. We chose not to discuss it with people and they were told that " the family requests that he not be touched. " Beverly G.
