Guest guest
FOr anyone who is technological enough to be on this internet list but for some erason lacks cable or the ability to watch it, and hasn't seen a post about it yet this afternoon, 30 MINUTES AGO, AT 1:15 PM EASTERN, SENATE MAJORITY LEADER TRENT LOTT STOOD UP ON THE FLOOR OF THE SENATE ASKED THE ACTING PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE MIKE DE WINE FOR UNANIMOUS CONSENT TO PASS HR 1023 THE RICKY RAY ACT. GUESS WHAT? DEWINE SAID " WITHOUT OBJECTION, IT IS SO ORDERED! " RICKY RAY PASSED, AFTER FIVE YEARS OF YOUR WORK. It is not yet funded. There's about a 5% chance that could still happen today, about 30% it could be part of a supplemental appropriation in the spring, and 50% or better for next October. Note that that doesn't add to 100% -- we'll still have to fight for it. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
