Guest guest
Dave: Dad lived in the woods in W. Va. most of his life. I've often wondered about something like that. There have been farms where scrapie was found, they killed the entire stock. Didn't use the farm for years, introduced a new stock of scrapie free sheep and within a short period of time there were cases of scrapie. they think it has something to do with hay mites in that case. Guest guest
One night my Mom had gotten bit by something, my guess would be a spider, while she was sleeping. It was on her nose and that bite became so infected and awful looking. After a few days when it didn't start looking better she went to the doctor and got antibiotics. It took forever for it to get better and heal. I remember him saying that if these kind of things go untreated that they eventually could make their way to the brain. Just one of the very few unusual things that ever happened to Mom. I have often wondered if it could have had something to do with the CJD.
