Guest guest
Hi , I'm sorry to hear of your current problems and your SSDI status. FWIW, A list of your meds, dosage, and usage could be quite a good contribution for your SSDI case. I would suggest a medical opinion letter stating that the normal med usage for you would be dehabilating from your occupation. Also, if you normally get your scripts filled at the same pharmacy, they can give you a historical printout of all of your scripts to be placed as evidence to the SSDI. As for driving, I don't think that's a problem as the SS office cannot be responsible for your driving, and even if your case goes to the administrative judge level, that individual cannot be responsible for your driving. However, there is also a positive aspect to that issue in that while on heavy narcotic meds, you might state you cannot drive safely and thus cannot depend on getting either to of from a workplace. Good luck in your quest with the SSA office. Best wishes, Poncho - GA

Guest guest
, My guess is that because has had so much success with potty training and Dr. H. made such a big deal out of it, that you will not have the same problems as before. I am so sorry that you both have to go through the surgery again, but that goodness that Dr. H. saw it! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Just let us know when the date is and you know that a lot of people will help you along with their positive vibes. Jodi

Guest guest
here is NY they have a program if you do not qualify for medicaid. I would call your local welfare office and see if you also have such a program. I think most states do have something for pregnant woman. Good Luck and congrats on the pregnancy. Guest guest
Hi---this is the first time I post. I have been reading and researching and came across your post. Congratulations on your weight loss and on your pregnancy! Just thought you should know that there's a law that's been in effect since 1996---HIPPA----which requires employers to give employees in this situation a " Certificate of Creditable Coverage " so that if you start a new job or are able to get health insurance in another way (through your husband if he gets the opportunity to join), they can't deny you coverage due to a pre-existing condition such as pregnancy. Also, I know COBRA can be very expensive, so if you talk to your employer they may be able to work out a deal with you where you can work the least hours required and still be able to qualify for your health insurance----even at a reduced wage. . .there are many creative ways that your employer can come up with to help you in your situation. . .particularly if you've been a loyal employee for ten years! Good luck, > Hi All...my name is Lynn (from Cedar Rapids,Iowa?. I'm new to this > site. I had gastric bypass 10/7/02...I've lost 100 pounds. Can you maybe give us a name and a little about yourself? Not a formal request, just so we know how to help if you ask a question. Guest guest
Deanna, OK, Missy, I'm running out of patience with those docs of yours. Is there an antibiotic you can safely take? What would it hurt for them to give it to you on the off chance that this congestion IS pneumonia? Hmmmmm? Secondly, why have they not put you in an oxygen tent, or tried good old fashioned mustard plasters? I remember when I was 18, sick with pneumonia to the point that my mother was in despair that I would ever get better. She called my old pediatrician, and he told her to go back to the tried and true methods...mustard plasters, steam treatments, etc. Well, it worked. The heat generated by the plasters did the trick, loosened up the congestion, and I was able to get it all out of my system. You might try it. Like chicken soup, it might not do any good, but it couldn't hurt. Feel better honey. Love, Mike
