had his endo this morning. They also placed a PH probe. The GI said

his esophagas was a mess, which is worse than in Dec. when it was healed. We

will have the biopsy results next week. The Dr. said depending on what the PH

probe shows will depend on the next step. Does anyone know what a normal PH

is? Mostly so far today it has stayed around 6.6. Once he burped and got pain

and it went down to 2.1. The Dr. said we could try flovent twice a day again

or oral steroid tablets, or formula, if it still looks liike the trouble is

eosinophils. I don't like the idea of tablet steroids though espically where

is missing one of his kidneys. Anyway, wouldn't he still need to have

formula since he has been strictly avoiding all foods he tested allergic to

since last July, and the damage has gotten worse. Has anyone had to start

their older child on a formula? How did you break it to him? How did they

take the news?

Thanks,

Cathy
