Aiden has appt for DOC band

Hi everyone:

I just have to share the great news with the group: Aiden has been

approved for the DOC band, his appt is on the 31 March, follow-up on

the 14 April to receive the band (Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois).

He is 16 month old today. I have posted before that he had gotten

some improvement from his first band, none from the second and

was 'graduated' from our local provider.

And that just re-iterates the old " go with your gut feeling " . Around

the time he was 10 months old our ortho said, well at his age there

won't be much improvement, while he was pointing at the growth chart.

Everyone was friendly were we went for banding, but there was just no

enthusiasm on their part about it. I kept thinking there has got to

be room for improvement as the DOC sites showed even older children

with vast improvement.

So, here we are, Hotel is booked, plans for packing are being made and

every other week my favorite little boyfriend and I will be making a

300 mile trip (one way).

I will keep up with the updates.
