Guest guest
, From my experience with my 7 year old, he has from time to time had excess saliva which comes when he has a very sore throat. When his throat hurts he does not want to swallow anything - not even the normal amount of saliva that his mouth produces. He has even gotten to the point of actually spitting it out after he " tanks it up " in his mouth for a few minutes. I have especially noticed this after a endoscopy w/biopsy and another time when he had strep throat. It was so much on both of those occasions that I wasn't sure at first if he was throwing up or just spitting out the saliva. AS far as the eosinophils go, I don't know if it is related. Have you had your child checked for strep?
