" . . . in the book Atkins talks about enjoying a chef salad with creamy

garlic dressing. All of the dressings that I have seen are high in carbs.

My other question is whether or not hard liquor is okay... "

Hi, Ken! I got REALLY tired of ranch dressing all the time (I've always

like tangier dressings myself), so I spent the better part of an hour

perusing the dressings at my local supermarket. The dressings I use now are

all (ironically!) Ken's Steakhouse dressings. Their Greek dressing (VERY

tangy -- lots of vinegar) is " 0 " carbs, as is their Caesar (not as tangy,

very flavorful). But my favorite is their Italian with Romano Cheese! It's

VERY good, and has only 1 carb per serving. The good thing about Ken's is

that they tend to be cheaper than the other brands, the bad thing is that

the bottle is smaller :) I really do like them, and Publix (if you have

one) sometimes puts them on sale -- a couple of weeks ago they were 99 cents

a bottle! Woo-hoo!!

As for the liquor, it's okay, but remember to watch your mixers! Juices and

sodas are pretty common mixers, and they're NOT okay. :) Sounds strange,

doesn't it? Drink the vodka, but NOT the orange juice! LOL

Enjoy yourself responsibly!
