Hi All,

I had sent a message to our pathologist in Indianapolis to invite him to

our conference. I knew that he was also a researcher for prion diseases.

What I didn't realize was how prominent he was within the

neuropathologists. He was the president of them for the years 1996-1997.

I also believe there is a list probably a mile long of other distiguishing

comments about him.

He is very interested in our conference and wants to work with us. He

approached me on this and wants to help me coordinate it. I have a meeting

set up with him on December 5th at his office at IU Medical Center.

The week before our conference he is going to another one in Vienna on

Prions. He said he would probably be able to bring back some interesting

news to present to us.

He is impressed that we are getting this conference together and thinks if

we work together then we will be able to get things done. More money for

research!!! This is a great person to have on our side.

When I am down there I will get research papers he has written, speeches he

has given and share it with all of you. I am very excited about this

meeting. Oh by the way his name is Dr. Bernadino Ghetti. His name is on

our homepage with the CJD Surveillence Project with Dr. Gambetti at Case

Western Reserve Hospital in Cleveland.

I just wanted to share this with all of you.

Sincerely, Robin
