I found the following letter on the Cord Website in the Archives of their

Guestbook. Since this woman doesn't list an e-mail address I was unable to

let her know about the list. Presuming that she may not be on line I am

sending this letter on to the list in hopes that one of you will write to

her. I would but have absolutely no practical knowledge of what she is

encountering. I sure hope one of you will find the time to respond.

Thanks Judy

I found this site through NORD along with some information on my son's

disease, but I am hoping to find someone to discuss this with. My son was

diagnosed with Eosinophilic gastroenteritis at fifteen months, he is two

now. He takes Neocate One Plus by a feeding tube and some water. He can

not eat or drink anything. He also has severe asthma, a latex allergy,

suppressed immune system, arthritis, and many drug allergies. Doctor " s fear

that he may reject the Neocate also. I am keeping my fingers crossed. The

many doctor's he has seen do not have any answers. He lives a very limited

life, no going away, no playing with other children, (he can not get his

immunizations). Is any one facing this same situation? I worry that all I

am doing is keeping him going-I am not making him better. Please send any

information to: K. Givler, P.O.Box 153 Dry Run, Pa. 17220. Thank you.
