Guest guest
Hi , Glad to hear that Karson is doing well. Try taking the rice out of his diet for a few days and see if it helps. has done fine without the rice cereal. If it does help, tell your ped and see what they think. He may be getting too much iron. I live in Southern Indiana, and my husband works in Kentucky, so his insurance is through there. After they refuse you, you appeal. They will tell you their reasons. Mine refused because it was available without a prescription, but the plan stated that it had to be either a prescription med. or medically necessary. So I appealed based on the fact that it was medically necessary even though available without a prescription. His GI sent in the letter of medical necessity. I have not heard back from them on this. This is all for the Neocate formula. I did not try to get them to cover the Alimentum. The only place that I know of that covers the Alimentum is Canada. I can't help you on the waking up, wakes up between midnight and three, and then at six. If you find a method that works on getting him to sleep through the night, let me know!! What did your ped say at his checkup about it? doesn't go until next month. But I understand about being tired!!!!! My daughter was sleeping through the night by five months. Well, I better get, hope everything stays good.
