Guest guest
The ones marked *** I've tried,,, they are EXCELLENT..La Pancakes*** 2 eggs, separated 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature 1T artificial sweetener (any heat-stable AS should work) Beat egg yolks and cream cheese together until smooth. Beat in AS. In separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Gently fold into cheese mixture. Fry in a frying pan with butter. They look like real pancakes, but they taste even better! And they don't have that eggy taste that most bread substitutes have. Sometimes, I even add a splash of vanilla to the batter. Tastes like cheesecake!
