Virus - this is a major one....

I wanted to take a minute to warn everyone in the group......

There is now a virus out on the internet called the virus. I'm sure

most of you have heard about it on the news. this is a real virus!!! I've

been dealing with it all day at work with users. If you have not downloaded

the current virus definitions for your virus protection software... it is

imparative that you do so immediately! No one is safe from this virus! If

you use McAffee go to www.mcaffee.com; if you use Norton, go to

www.symantec.com. Download the latest updates for your system!!! If you get

an email that says " Important Message from (someone's name that you know) "

and the message within the email says " here is the document you asked for...

dont show to anyone else ;-) " Attached to it is a Word document with a macro

virus. It will take the 1st 50 names from your address book and email the

virus to them without your knowledge. DO NOT OPEN THIS EMAIL; DELETE IT

IMMEDIATELY!!!! A second wave of this virus has hit as of 2pm today; If you

get an email with " Attention Infection discovered by Network Assoc. " DELETE IT

ALSO!!!! This is the same virus duplicating itself. Good luck to all.....
