Guest guest
e, I sometimes worry myself about getting CJD if I forget what I was doing, if my legs ache, or trip over my own feet, but that's normal especially after what you....and the rest of us.....have witnessed. I also thought of other family members getting my mother's " sporatic " CJD, but I recently decided that I need to use my time more productively and not worry about things I have no control over, (this is hard because I blamed stress on my mom's CJD). I too will never forget watching my mother get sick and the horrible way she died. My sister, nne, recently summed it up saying: " I'm not going to live my life in a glass bubble... " Rather than dwelling on the past....(and I know that's NOT easy for you, or alot of us), try HARD to move ahead, enjoy your family and friends, educate others about this disease....and most of all remember....LIFE IS A GIFT....use it wisely.
