Just in case anyone is using this product, I thought better safe

than sorry.

MURRAY, Ky. -- Kenlake Foods is recalling Instant Pistachio Pudding

Mix

and No Sugar Added Instant Pistachio Pudding Mix sold under the

Kroger,

Fry's, Best Choice and Safeway labels.

The company said it was recently notified by one of its outside

suppliers that the pistachios used in the manufacturing of the

pudding mix

may have inadvertently contained some peanuts. Peanuts are not listed

on

the ingredient label and, if consumed by individuals who are

sensitive to

peanuts, they could cause a serious or life-threatening allergic

reaction.

There have been no reports of illness or injury associated with

the

products.

The pistachio pudding is sold in 1.1 ounce, 3.4 ounce, 3.5 ounce,

and

5.25 ounce boxes with a date code between " DEC 02 00 " and " APR 21 01. "

Consumers who purchased the products are asked to return them to

the

store for a full refund. For more information, they can call toll-

free

.
