Guest guest
Hi! My name is Kelsey and I'm 17. Five years ago I was diagnosed with severe migraines, after more than 6 months of testing. No meds or treatments have helped as of yet, so I have gone through alot more testing. Through that I have been to more than 15 doctors in LA, 1 in TX, and 4 in IL. Last year they found out I am allergic to many foods. This spring I started vomitting alot and had to cut more and more foods out of my diet until I now eat about 10 different foods, and only water to drink. Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with narcolepsy, and this past week the GI specialist said the results from my endoscopy showed eosinophils in my esophagus. I really don't know what this means, and the doc doesn't seem 100% sure either. I have an excessive amount of reflux, which has caused alot of stomach tissue to grow in my esophagus. My stomach pH is way more acidic than it should be, it has a pH of 1. So, all I really know is that the doc hasn't seen anyone like me before and I am on a pill twice a day to help me stop throwing up everything I eat. I haven't lost too much weight because I eat all the time. If anyone knows anything like this, I would appreciate any advice, stories, ideas, anything! Thank you!!!
