Guest guest
Terry, I have wondered the same thing about why the greater concern over nvcjd as opposed to cjd in general.I have observed for anyone to get press coverage or very much attention even from some of the members of cjd voice they have to be young and suspected of having nvcjd. I don't get it. I haven't said anything because either kind is horrible and deserve attention. But it is very puzzling. I think it is the weirdness and sensationalism attached to calling it " Mad Cow " disease. I don't know if they are all the same, but I know cjd has been around for many, many years and when it is called " Mad Cow " and strikes a young person (which of course is horrible too) it receives attention. Go figure. Carolyn W
