Guest guest
Hello Everyone: Some time ago, we felt it was a very important function of our CJD Voice web site to create space so that members' CJD stories/CJD progressions could be placed there. However, other priority issues developed and we had to put the idea on hold for a while. Many of our new members have been helped, by the stories and progressions of others, as they are walking down the CJD pathway with their loved one. Those members, who have just lost someone to CJD, have been able to connect with the stories of other members who have completed their walk and shared their detailed stories. And as we are all aware, there are constant inquiries from people who are having difficulty getting answers to their questions regarding neurological disorders showing symptoms typical of CJD. So, we are ready to accept your stories and put them on our web site. We understand that it may still be too painful for new members to write their stories. But, we ask that each of you please consider submitting your story at a later date. Please remember, these stories/progressions will help someone in the future who will face the demon called Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. We may also open the doors to important CJD issues by writing our stories and progressions. There has been a lot of email discussion lately within the group on patient symptoms and health-related issues. This is an excellent practice and should be continued. We encourage all group members to participate in group email discussion. Please send your stories/progressions to me at dbc006@... and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. We are also asking members to send a photo of your loved one to Pat at ape826@.... We need your photos for our album called " CJD Voice - In Memory " . Thank you and may God bless and support us in our CJD efforts. Thoughtfully, Dolly
