Well we had BJ at the GI doctor yesterday and he had his scope yesterday. He did gain some weight and is up to a whopping 28 lbs. I told the GI I was really concerned about his weight and he said he wouldn't worry too much and he told us to look at our daughter who is almost 8 and only weighs 39 lbs. I don't think that is healthy either but she has always been a picky eater and very petite. She only wears a size 6. BJ is not at all built like her and she doesn't have EG (that I know of) and she doesn't have tummy pain all the time. The only reason he gained any weight is due to the fact that we have been pushing food on him 24/7. He said he was saddened (his exact word) by the looks of BJ's endoscopy. He said his villi is completely flattened and his small intestines are very swollen, red and inflammed. He said he can almost predict the results will come back with very high eosinophils. This we expected. His colonscopy seemed really good and he said the results will probably be normal (they always have been)
