Guest guest
This link will (hopefully) take you to one of the most informative US articles I have ever seen on CDC Surveillance. This is the meat and potatoes of the CDC's research. It will take me several days to pick it apart, but there are charts, graphs and other very interesting notes. http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/EID/vol2no4/holman2.htm " >EID Vol 2 No 4: Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease in the United States, 1979-1994: Using National Mortality Data to Assess the Possi The CDC is taking actual reported CJD cases and graphing them. I would love to hear from anyone who wants to take the time to decipher this. I did notice that according to one of their graphs, CJD cases are on the rise (keep in mind that the CDC is several years behind in reporting statistics. I believe 1994 is the latest they have listed). They should be updating these stats again soon (if they dare!). Beverly G.
