Guest guest
Hi all, I am a frequent reader and infrequent poster.... My sons problems seem minimal to what many of you are experiencing and my heart goes out to all of you. My son (severe esophageal inflamation) is starting his prednisone treatment next week. We are trying to determine once and for all if his probs are due to an immune reaction (allergies) or something else. He really has no food allergy symptoms whatsoever and has tested negative to all allergy testing. He has also had several ph probes which were both negative. He is going to be taking 25 mg prednisone in a.m. and again in p.m. for 3 weeks, then he is scheduled for a scope/biopsy. is 7 years old and weighs 60 pounds. Does this sound similar to what some of you went through? What should I expect as far as side effects from the 3 week treatment? Thanks for the help,
