Guest guest
About death certificates: Thanks for correcting me Bev.... We are not going to the Clerks office to look at death certificates, so I don't think it is a problem at any rate. I do believe we should check each state to find out about various states and their laws, good point, Dolly. If we find the victim in obituaries, we can print the info, as long as the information is abstracted and we don't violate copyright laws... We don't want to print the info verbatim..... The obituary section usually has terrific info, so we can use them if possible, but our best resort of all is by word of mouth and talking to the victims family..... our contact in Washington State has already found a couple more victims and is hot on the trail of two more, by word of mouth.... The CJD Watch site is in the formative stages, we will probably have to do a lot of things differently as it grows. Right now, just to get it up and running is really a tremendous job. Oregon (from what I understand) and California both have mandatory reporting of CJD, I would like to find out more about those records, and how secretive they are... Does anyone know???
