Guest guest
Hello to all.... As most of you know, I've recently accepted a full time position as a Computer Support Specialist. I've have been encountering virus alerts on a daily basis at work and wanted to pass on the information to my friends at CJD Voice. There are numerous virus's on the internet, some are very malicious. One in particular is called the Happy99.exe virus. This is a downloaded executable file that will cause a " worm " to clear your hard drive. You can not get a virus from reading email!!! You can only get a virus if a download has a virus in it and you select download and save it to your pc. Many virus's are sent without the knowledge of the sender!! To avoid the spread of these virus's I suggest that we not send attachments thru the group. Additionally, if you don't have any virus scan software installed on your machine, I'd strongly advise the purchase of either Norton or McAfee. Take care, be well and stay clean!
