Hi everyone;

Well good news. We can give g tube hydration again and reduce the IV one

finally with . Also we are reducing the TPN to see if he gets his

apetite back. Right now its a pain to get more then a nibble into him at a

time. I am hoping he stays well over the holidays. I am starting right back

at square one, but at least his obstruction is gone and if it meant loosing

more bowel to get things to go through it was worth it. I am not so sure

the decision to loop out the 10cm he lost was good. We are having a

nightmare bagging both stomas. He still has horrible gas and pains, but the

school is starting to deal with those issues. Now they give him about 5-10

minutes to rest and then he is okay again. They were using a femine pad

today to stop his extra fistula from oozing all over his underwear. yeah.

What a sight that must have been with wings on. But it works great. I am

sorry that I have not been responding to people on the list. But I was down

in the dumps and its been hard dealing with getting on the mend and

the other four kids. Also this is a busy time for me at work and I hate the

thought of having to work alot during the christmas season. My house is

still in the pre christmas disaster zone and I have yet to write a

christmas card. Well I do hope that everyone will have a great christmas

and lets pray all our kids will improve and peace on earth. That would be

the best gift of all.
