Hello everyone. Sorry we have not updated or answered any mail (I

haven't even read most of it yet)

Kody went into the hospital over a week ago to place a central line

(Broviak) and start TPN. IT was emotionally very traumatic for all of

us; the culmination of 4 years of hard work to PREVENT this and here we

are at the last resort.

The diagnoses are eos esophagitis and chronic intestinal

pseudo-obstruction with resulant malnutrition and repetitive

dehydration. We got his TPN in a 12-hour cycle and got home late last

night. Shortly after getting home, he had sudden and marked change in

behavoir, whiny, curled up, wanting to be rocked, etc, etc NOT NORMAL.

I hooked him up and he slept for 13 hours (NOT NORMAL). Now he is up,

says he is " sick " and wants his " Gtube opened " . Even without anything

p.o. he has a large volume of gastric output and some blood.

No doubt, we are headed back to the hospital and I am scared

*&*#@)-less.

Appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. Email I can check from the

hospital is stephy8ch@...
