Guest guest
I've read the book(s) by the Hellers... carb addicts diet... and it is interesting.. i put it to a test for a week... didnt lose, didnt gain, didnt really get the cravings, except when i did eat some pasta with my dinner it tasted soo good i wanted more... but i didnt. BUT... I think this could be beneficial to those out there who are having trouble sticking to the woe and/or have a special occasion coming up -- the holidays are almost here -- this could really help... here's my thoughts keep doing atkins (which i decided is the best one for me) - BUT - if you have the urge to splurge, or a special occ. or something, put the principles of CAD into motion... don't eat any (or very low) carbs during the day... and for dinner you can eat the carbs... but eat a balanced carb meal.. divide your plate into thirds.. eat the same amount of protein, carbs, fiber (veggies)-- and eat it all within 1hour!!!!!! that is the key. If you keep it in an hour your insulin levels dont sore. They also said not to worry about balanceing the amounts exactly, just eyeball it.. and if you want 2nds.. fine.... just have it of all 3! I just think this could really be beneficial.. they say (and a few of my friends have) you can lose a lot of weight this way. -- Smiles, Mollie Michigan 177/165/135 eat to live, not live to eat!
