Guest guest
Robin, I saw on CNBC last night...the Live..( I have no idea how to spell his name), but he had a special about mental illness of all degrees, even depression, where the doctors only wanted to put people in a home and not try to find a drug to treat them with. He also had Tipper Gore on there. She is in with the mental health division now. This might be another good idea for an invitation. If they don't want to come, with their interest in these kinds of problems..it might just be another way of getting the word out. Especially when we have so many of our loved ones being diagnoised with depression, or some have been admitted to mental wards, or doctors being afraid of giving them strong drugs for aggitation or hulluciations, in " fear that they would become addicted to them " . There might be a lot of cases that these people that actually had CJD. The medical field really needs to educate themselves on CJD. The symptoms of this disease mimicks many, many different diseases, before being diagnoised. If I had the time to work with this, I would send them, but they really need someone to talk to if they are interested in coming. Just a thought!
