Hi everyone. They're going to let Kody come home today. We're adding

Prilosec (through the GT mind you! :0). They replaced the Bard button with

a standard cheap-o Corpak, for no other reason than it looked a little tight

and they found no source of bleed, so they did that thinking it " might " have

been a contributor.

There is a great deal of concern being generated with second and third looks

at the pictures and consultations between all the doctors present at the

scope (this included the peds surgeon). They have growing concerns about

the nature of the " lesion " that is growing on the old ulcer site. I havent

specifically asked what the frozen section biopsies showed, but their alarm

was much more apparent this morning than yesterday afternoon. They want to

take Kody back in next week, no more than two weeks, and do an endoscopic

ultrasound to try and determine just WHAT this lesion is. " We've never seen

anything like this " .. HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE ALL HEARD THAT ONE?

So hopefully, it is just another weird thing Kody is doing, and it won't

turn out to be the big nasty C word. Obviously, I'll keep you updated and

if anyone has anything to add to this, anyone heard anything similar about

or want to pass along to any doctor anywhere, please do. I'll certainly get

what info I can and make sure it gets out in the POST when their article

comes out.

Steph.
