Guest guest
Doing better. They didnt find the source of the bleed which is a good news/bad news scenario. We were all unanimous that if the bleed was caused from the tube, yet a third time, that would be IT for G-tubes and Kody. They could not definitively prove it was from the tube. The old massive ulcer-site from 8/99 has some bizarre hypertrophic growth going on that we are going to have to follow, but it did not appear to be causing the bleeding (one of those thank goodness we found this even though we were looking for something else kind of things). His esophagus looked a little inflamed and his duodenum was " pale and villae were flattened " -- waiting for biopsies on those and hoping they are loaded with eosinphils. They're keeping him still, especially as they didnt find the source of the bleed and he has earned a reputation after his massive bleed last fall. The husband has the duty tonight, I had to come back and get away for a few hours and I have a meeting with the Super of Schools in the a.m. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Steph. __________________________________________________
