Hi Everyone:

Bill and I wanted to share Stauber's positive compliments on our

group CJD efforts. shares our frustration concerning the lack of

knowledge about CJD and its risks.

He compliments the CJD families in their efforts to be heard and to

make a difference. He also is sympathetic to " The Walk through Hell " that was

experienced by our loved lost to CJD and the families involved.

If you have not read " Mad Cow U.S.A. " you are truly missing an

excellent education on CJD and the family of TSE's. The book is an

eye-opener to what is possibly happening in the USA right now. In fact, we

have witnessed CJD and have already faced the nightmare. It is revealing and

raises a red flag to alert us all of the deadly consequences that await

future generations.

Please remember, the more we educate ourselves about CJD, the better

we can relate the facts about CJD to others. " Mad Cow, U.S.A. " serves as an

excellent means of education for us all. Read it... it will chill you to the

bone.

Dolly (and Bill),

Thanks for what you are doing. Sheldon and I are very proud of the

accuracy of the book; as you know its a difficult, scary, area with many

unknowns, and we are happy that the book is a solid overview of the problem,

as we see it.

Despite my rather cynical nature, I continue to be shocked and

appalled at how at this late date this disease and its risks are being

ignored. It's been very heartening for me to see the courage of CJD

families here organizing to get better attention to this issue, after going

through the personal hell of this in your families.

So, I hope this helps and more power to you.
