Guest guest
IgE levels is a class of protein that is referred to as an antibody. there are 5 major gorups of immunoglobulings (Ig). IfE's increase during allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. I am not sure it they correspond with an increase in eosinophils, and none of our doctors have been able to tell me if they do or not. But they do have a shor half life which mean that if their levels remain elevated, that they are constantly reproducing in an effort to fight something. hope this helps ---patty
Guest guest
Gretchen, My son was just at the physical therapist last month to work on flexibility to get his foot to neutral for AFO'S....and she found it 'curious' that when he laid down, his legs weren't even, and eventually figured out that he didn't have one shorter than the other, just a pulled up hip on one side because of the gait......Martha

Guest guest
Hi Cathy! I, too, have had " fireworks in my feet " . I had this happen a few years back; for some reason it doesn't happen anymore. I believe that feeling extremely cold in the legs exacerbates the condition, since I used to live in an apartment without much heat during the winter. My feet hurt so much some nights that I could not sleep at all when this was happening. I guess it has something to do with the CMT, and I know it is worse if I feel cold...Kathleen

Sometimes that really hurts because he forgets how little pressure I can handle. But, it usually works. If you try it - I hope it works for you also. Jeanie (from Oregon) Moonglow21@...
