Guest guest
Bev, My husband & I went to a Tom and Jerry's ice cream parlor with our daughter recently. While we were there I noticed they had a big sign that stated Ben & Jerrys do not use dairys who give their cows bovine growth hormone. They also have a pamphlet explaining about rBGH and what you can do about it. It explains that the FDA has refused to require food products to be labled when they contain milk from treated cows and without a national labeling standard consumers are denied the right to make an informed choice about BGH and the dairy products they buy. It also has a statement " The jury's still out on long-term human health implications. I have the pamphlet and would be glad to send you one if you would like.
