This is kinda off subject, but here goes.....I have been really worried about

AJ. She went on steroid for 10 days last month. I really saw an increase in

her appetite. She wants to eat all the time, even though she has finished the

course of meds. The problem is, now she sleeps all the time. We are talking

3-4 hour naps. Even her teacher came in today and said something. She was in

the middle of lunch and said she had to go to sleep. In the middle of the

class, she passed out for 3 1/2 hours, with all the noise and commotion around

her. I know the doctors will think I am nuts. Her allergist will give me this

look-one I have seen all too often. I feel it is food related. This summer, I

had 4-8 kids in my house and we were swimming for hours a day, she stayed up

late and she never napped. She was only on Neocate. What is she

eating-cheerios, potato chips, pretzels, bread (parve) with canola " butter " ,

crackers with 'butter', I think it is the carbs. Supposedly " safe " foods. I

asked the teacher what she had for snack today. 3 little cups of cheerios.

Three cups in one meal is a lot for her. But she ate it and slept. I hate to

take away more foods. I don't know if I should asked to have her retested for

allergies. Any suggestions/advice? Thanks for listening. Phyllis--mom to
