Hi, I am back from the hospital. I was happy to find a hospital in this country

that tries to work on American standards. The staff was wonderful and I felt

that Yisroel was in good hands. We came out of the hospital with my son able to

eat they worked with him on his swallowing and every day it is getting better.

The biggest thing I was shockesd about is that he wasn't reacting to the food

when we were in the hospital and they gave him everything except soy. There was

a few times he would start to wheeze after he ate but about an hour or so it

went away.( Did anyone ever experience that ?) He has now been eating for 6

days.He started having normal stools and even the first 2 days he was

constipated but the last few days he would have a normalish stool and then 2

after that would be watery. Does that mean that he possibly has what Miriam has

or tht he is reacting to something I wouldn't even know what to take out of his

diet. H e is still working on his swallowin g it takes him along time to eat and

when he finishes it is only a small amount. That is what is going on with

Yisroel.

Now Miriam, she has been doing pretty good on the steroids and I have been

slowly ading a couple more things to her diet. She is on the way to being weaned

off the prednisone she is on 5 mg everyother day.hopefully in another month she

will be off completly.

when did you get your symptoms back as you were being weaned off or

not untill you were off completly.

I hope all of you are doing well.

Shana (mom to MIriam 3 1/2 ,EG,food allergies, Yisroel 2 asthma , soy

allergy, possible reflux, Tehilla 7 in emotional distress causing learning

disabilties)
