Stay Scam Free

There are scam artists out there who want to get their mice on your credit

card number, your AOL password, and whatever else might help them to hurt you.

It looks like this: you get an unsolicited e-mail with official-sounding

jargon or an " AOL Rewards " message with a hyperlink. The link takes you to a

Web page with a header and footer copied off an AOL.com Web page. You're asked

to type in your screen name and password, or sometimes your credit card

number. Give them nothing! For further confirmation of a scam, check the web

address - it won't even be an AOL.com address.

Don't let them get you, and help us get them. If you do find an e-mail like

this, forward it immediately to screen name TOSEMAIL1 so appropriate action

can be taken.
