Hi,

I scanned a rough draft of the quilt that I drew up. I know that not

everyone will be able to see this but hoping that I will be able to show some

of you. I used colored pencils and didn't have exactly the same colors that

the fabric will be, but it gives an idea. The hearts in the middle are

embroidered with the names, date of death, USA and then a small design the

names from other countries will have their initials. The quilting in the

middle will frame the appliqued hearts. There will also be quilting on the

borders. Suzanne....note the ribbon in the upper right hand corner if you

can see it.

I have had some people ask if they can contribute to the quilt. This is a

very nice gesture and anything is welcome. For example, $4.00 will buy two

spools of quilting thread. I will have postage to send this from one place

to another. Postage for packets of hearts to send out. I need to buy green

for the vine. There will be needles and labels, batting, backing, entrance

fees for the quilt shows. DON'T feel obligated to do this, just if you were

interested.
